This interactive Flash website shows an artist's depiction of The Courthouse on Deansgate, a building purchased by our client, Henry Boot Developments, who intend to create an exciting mixed-use development. The site is a digital brochure, and will be circulated by agents to interested parties. The scheme is going to be something a bit different, and the site reflects this with its quirky animation.
Check it out here!

We are looking for a digital marketing whizz to join the team. Someone with a few years under their belt, who is great with clients, is a good ballroom dancer, and can speak Vulcan (the last two are not true)... sounds like you?

We've been doing some great work with the Institute of Directors, including helping them
interpret their brand online,
providing a multimedia micro site for their Annual Convention and also developing an interactive personalised zone within the login area (coming soon).

We took Henry Boot Developments out recently to celebrate the end of a project. We didn't spend all afternoon in the pub, honest. Here's a pic (unfortunately my ginormous bonce is obscuring the most important person, the client):

It's Kate's birthday today, and she's a laydee so I'm not telling you how old. Here she is blowing out candles on the cake that Rob slaved over for hours.

Another job for commercial property developers Henry Boot Developments, this one. They've bought a smashing listed building, the old court house, on Manchester's best known street, Deansgate. We're in charge of presenting the vision for the building to people potentially interested in letting a space in the development. It's going to be 'mixed use' (posh shops, restaurants, that type of thing). We are planning a very swanky piece of fashion-illustration inspired interactive animation, web-based of course. Here's a photo of the building. Be back soon with some visuals.

Later this month we will be launching a project which is a first for Bright Digital: marketing for a commercial property development company. Henry Boot Developments decided to go digital to market a shopping centre scheme to potential retailers. A select audience of retailers will be be introduced to the scheme via a video-based website (integrating CGI and video footage along with supporting downloadable documents) that sits behind a password protected area. We're confident this multimedia presentation of the scheme will wow the audience and help Henry Boot Developments fill the shopping centre with top fashion and food outlets.

We're working on a short video and animation piece for our website which will tell the world a bit about who we are and how we work; a bit like a less boring 'About Us' section! Here's a preview of the storyboard:

We're commissioning some music which will set the pace of the action. Then all we have to do is shoot the video and lay animation over the top (sounds easy doesn't it?) - we'll put stuff up here to show the progress.

We have been busy working on an exciting new video magazine product. The video mag provides a new and exciting experience for reading online content. Visually engaging and truly interactive, it opens up a whole new way of delivering client communications.
The first edition will be launched very soon for Intel, a key client of ours. It will also be available shortly after as a product - watch this space.

I went to bTWEEN this month, a conference about collaboration and creativity in the digital arena. The unexpected highlight of the show was a huge interactive messageboard positioned behind speakers that displayed comments posted via text and email by members of the live audience and also those watching online. I think it was supposed to be polite and lively debate surrounding speaker topics, but it turned out to be a highly comedic vehicle for dramatic irony, with mostly cheeky comments provoking giggles in the audience whilst the speaker carried on obliviously. Co-attendee Jamie commented that this format could be used to great effect in a standup comedy show, which I agreed could be award-winningly ace.
